My Community Connections offers an engaging way for 5th - 8th grade students to study Iowa history. While researching their own communities, students will focus on what made, or makes, where they live unique and special

Through a series of media and community activities, Iowa students will explore how their communities came into being. They will compare that picture with how it is today, and predict ways it may change in the future.
